Leon Lewin
President
Leon began his insurance career in Cape Town, South Africa in 1967. In 1976, he sold his brokerage to the Alexander Howden group, where
he remained as an officer. In 1982, Leon founded Los Angeles based Abacus Insurance Brokers. As an early believer in the power and opportunities of
technology, he spearheaded the development of abacus.net in 1996.

Darren Lewin, CPCU, CPA, CMA
Vice President, Program Development
After earning his B.A. in Quantitative Economics at UCSD, Darren spent several years
with Deloitte & Touche. He joined Abacus Insurance Brokers in 1996 to be
actively engaged in the development of the abacus.net strategy.

Programs, Carrier Relations.
Kevin Lewin, CPCU, CPA
Vice President, Technology
Kevin earned his B.A. in Quantitative Economics at UCSD and began his
career with Abacus in 1993. Kevin led the design team in the development of abacus.net and is responsible for all technological aspects and
implementations.
