Abacus Insurance Brokers Selects North American Specialty to Expand Online Entertainment Programs

LOS ANGELES, CALIF.-- Abacus Insurance Brokers, Inc., a Los Angeles-based program manager that distributes specialty insurance products online through www.abacus.net, has selected North American Specialty Insurance Company (a member of the Swiss Re Group) to expand its online entertainment programs.

The program, launched today, includes rental houses, film schools, venues, promoters, shell corps, theatrical, pre-production and production studios, film print floaters and others. With these additions, Abacus expands the number of programs under its management from 18 to 33.

Working with North American Specialty's Manchester, New Hampshire office, Abacus Insurance Brokers will serve as program manager to offer and administer the entertainment program with a view toward making coverage available in all 50 states and Washington, D.C.
